Dragon Age anime to release in 2011

dragonage6

A Dragon Age anime is already in production and will hit next year, EA said in a statement today.

The film's being created by FUNimation Entertainment, a US anime distributor, but Bioware EP MarkDarrah and creative director Mike Laidlaw are executive producing.

“Anime is a great medium for us to continue the robust Dragon Age story,” said Darrah.

“Partnering with FUNimation ensures that we are delivering the exceptional quality and entertainment value that our Dragon Age fans expect.”

There's no detail on plot as yet. PR here.

Thanks, revolting.
