Funcom reveals PvP arenas for The Secret World

Funcom's Ragnar Tørnquist revealed during a Q&A that the firm's MMO, The Secret World, will not only contain PvP - which was a given - but specialized arenas for it as well.

While he would not go into much detail on it, he did say that the arena was in addition to the fight raging for world domination between the factions.

“We haven’t really talked about this yet," he said, "but what the hell: there will be arenas for PvP matches in addition to the ongoing society battle for world domination.”

He also revealed that the game will feature full voice-overs for every missions. Players will also be able to engage in non-combat activities in social arenas, but no extra details were provided on that either.

As far as magical powers in the MMO are concerned, players will get to use demonology, illusionism and voodoo - to name a few.
