EA job listing suggests Dante's Inferno 2 in the works at Visceral

If an EA job listing on Gama, found by superannuation, is pointing to an unannounced Visceral project, it might be time to hedge a bet on Dante's Inferno 2.

The said listing says the studio's working on "the sequel to a major new IP at the award-winning Visceral Games, creators of Dead Space and Dante’s Inferno."

If true, it would be a change in tack from comments made by producer Jonathan Knight back in February, when he said Visceral wasn't looking to making DI2.

"I’ve read the entire divine comedy and I’ve given it some thought, but there are no plans," he said back then.

Remember, before it was announced in December, Dead Space 2 was pretty much revealed under similar circumstances.

The original Dante's Inferno released in February of this year for PS3, Xbox 360 and PSP. It's since received a massive DLC pack, Trials of St. Lucia, that includes co-op and allows players to create challenges for others.

It's also thought Visceral is working on a PSN/Xbox Live Arcade title based on Jack the Ripper.
