LBP2 might not be fully backwards compatible, says Media Molecule

Media Molecule's Alex Evans has told Edge that the recently-revealed LittleBigPlanet 2 might not be 100 percent fully backwards compatible with its predecessor.

Speaking to the UK magazine in its latest issue, Evans said that the dev team "might not succeed" with getting all levels from the original into the sequel thanks to "exploits people have used" in creating them.

"We may not get 100 percent backwards compatibility," he said, "but I hope we do."

He added: "It's a really hard job to QA it, with millions of levels to get through. We might not succeed in all the exploits people have used."

LBP2 was formally announced last week for a 2010 release for PS3. Hit up everything here for Joe's visit to the reveal event last week.
