The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf footage surfaces

Some footage from the canceled console version of The Witcher has surfaced over on YouTube, and it really makes you ache for what could have been.
In response to the footage dug up by CD Action, CD Projekt admitted its authenticity, but said that it not was made by the firm.
When looking at the film, one of the developers on The Witcher 2, said that it looks to have been recorded long "before freezing" Rise of the White Wolf, and looks to be part of a test used to check the game's mechanics.
Still, for something that wasn't close to being finished, it looks rather smashing. Hopefully, it's still being considered.
