Microsoft: "Someday we will bring back Killer Instinct"

Killer Instinct 3 rumors may have been floating about since time immortal, but thanks to a recent interview with Kenneth Lobb, creative director at Microsoft Game Studios, there may be reason to keep hope alive.
"I love KI. We want to make KI," Lobb told D'toid at X10. "We aren't working on it today. Someday we will bring back KI."
Lobb also revealed that the Ultra Combos in the game were his idea.
The video is rather short, but worth a watch if you have been itching for the game since, like forever.
With Rare stating that there's no shortage of possibilities for resurrecting its titles on XBLA, a revamp of Killer Instinct I & II could secretly be in the cards for all we know.
It's been done with Perfect Dark, why not KI, ya know.
